Can’t decorate any eggs this year? Yolk’s on you!

Don’t worry if you don’t have access to a dye kit, you can dye with things already in your home.

*Pro-tip, hard boil your eggs prior to pimping them out.

Here are our favorite ways to jazz up your eggs:

Natural Dyeing

Find natural ingredients in your pantry or fridge such as strawberries, blueberries, beets, and turmeric. Simmer these ingredients in water with a dash of vinegar. Soak eggs in this mixture in the fridge overnight. The longer you soak them the richer the color.

Whipped cream + food coloring

Drizzle your food coloring of choice on a bed of whipped cream. Then dip your hard-boiled eggs in the mixture and let dry. Wipe off any excess.

Baking Soda

Combine food coloring, baking soda, and vinegar together. Soak your eggs in the mixture to achieve the marble look.

Truth or Dare Eggs:

The person finding the eggs must do what the note suggests!

Typography Easter Eggs:

Come up with a fun word or phrase, write a letter on each egg, and make your hunters unscramble the message.

Coupon Prizes:

You can create your own coupons and tape them to each egg. Knowing that the hunters can get out of doing the dishes one night should spur them on!
