Basil Box is a quick service restaurant that brings the flavours and authentic ingredients of Asia to the streets of Canada. Basil Box reintroduces Asia cuisine to North American market in a healthy way to satisfy your cravings and conscience. Basil Box allows customers to build your own box, starting with a base of rice, rice noodles or salad, and topped with a selection of delicious protein like chicken, beef, shrimp, and tofu.

What They Wanted

The client wanted Peersway to source Canadian influencers living in Ontario (Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville, Ottawa), Calgary, and Burnaby. Basil Box wanted influencers to capture photos of the fresh ingredients used in each dish. They also wanted to drive awareness of the Basil Box app, where users can order in advance and collect points for with every purchase!

What We Did

We collaborated with 25 influencers to create one Instagram post and one Instagram story on their feed. Influencers shared photos of their healthy and delicious “build your own box” meal, emphasizing the authentic ingredients, minimal sodium, and their fully compostable box and utensils. Additionally, they shared the benefits of the Basil Box app, where you are able to order meals in advanced and collect points with every purchase that can be redeemed for anything on the menu!
